Hi my name is Sam, I am also known as the 'Defunct Dame'. Zombies have been my passion for as long as I can remember. My second passion was always writing. Quite often the two overlap, but I try to branch out more often lately. I married my best friend, Keith (aka SocialToxin) in 2013. I work full time at a really amazing restaurant (and it better be for the 2 hour bus ride I take to go to work! ) and also play 7 Days to Die full time. Seriously, I once played a 13 hour game. Usually the highest is 7 hours on stream on Twitch, but that day was just after work and only for me. We all need our outlets you know? 

Writing was once my outlet, but for quite a long time I have had the WORST writer's block you could ever imagine. Like it has just stopped me from even starting to name my characters. Ridiculous. I think it's mostly you know just life stress. Like I mentioned before I work a lot. And I am also helping raise my sister's 5 beautiful kiddos. And recently I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and Sciatica. Recently I had some really rude people on Twitch (and there have been some in our own government to everyone) that blamed it on the person suffering the disease. While sure I could stand to lose weight (though I went from 400lbs to 250lbs just because I got sick of being 400lbs, wasn't like suffering any illnesses then), diabetes is generally hereditary. Both my parents have/had it (Mom died in 2010, dad is still alive), my Nana (mom's mom) had it. I am sure there is more. So you know it was in the genes. I was doomed anyway. But now I am working on taking care of it. And hopefully after all this, I can get back to writing. 

My writing always had this weird 'me-ness' to it. And I particularly like it. But I want to grown and hopefully write a lot more that more people will want to read. So thank you for taking time to read this, you have the patience of a Saint, I can tell - or a masochist! Either way, thanks and WELCOME!
