I had a question. Is it true, that when you learn something new or just..learn anything some kind of hormones are made so you feel happy afterwards?

DrJessePayne

It would depend on what you were learning. In general, new learning creates new connections and pathways in your brain. This helps keep your brain healthy, active, and strong.

Oh... I'm learning a lot from you! Thank you :)

@LRL0716 - Thank you! Did you know that learning new things helps to keep the brain connected and strong. When people stop learning new things, the brain actually begins to disconnect over time. Keep up the learning! :)

@alexgaskarths - Well, the truth is that brain struggles like schizophrenia and multiple personality disorders aren't affecting the brain. You have to think of it in the opposite way. It's how a person's brain is wired and working that is affecting his/her behavior and causing the symptoms of schizophrenia and multiple personality disorders. My mom, for example, struggles with schizophrenia. When we had her diagnosed, we could see a lot of unusual brain activity in certain parts of her brain, including her prefrontal cortex and temporal lobes. Help for this comes only if the person wants it and works for it.

It's a great shame that most of these girls assume that because you share a last name with a celebrity that you therefore are related. Perhaps people can realize that the last name Payne is fairly common, and that one should not assume.

Anyways, I look forward to picking up your book "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life (before 25)".
