My daughter  encouraged me to finish my first book 'Quest for Botanica'  after she found the initial sketched ideas on my laptop. My wife Andrea gave me the idea for the Botanical names of the characters.
I have written  through out my life but never really had the nerve to publish them. Botanica is my first tentative step into allowing others to read my works. I must admit I have weird and whacky ideas all the time, maybe very Python-esque /70's, 80's rooted but that's my age !!!!? I write from the heart  and try to portray what I am feeling at any point in time. Not formely trained or conforming to set formulae my writings may well break many a rule but if they didn't I would lose the spontinaety of my thoughts and ramblings.
Please send any comments so I can improve the books for everyone's enjoyment.  I would recommend Wattpad to any budding writers out there who are picking this up for the first time as it is a good forum to get your ideas out there and get some feed back at the same time.  All I would say is have fun and enjoy.
