Hmmmmm

I like to read. Well, I used to. Back then reading was my primary hobby, but now I focus on art. But I still like to read books. I'm fascinated with literature. Real literature that was written throughout history. Not the contemporary literature nowadays. They're all mostly about worthless love stories, sappy fantasies, and modern-day experiences that don't interest me.

The literature I like are those that have a meaning and a purpose. The authors of the past are grand masters of literature. The books they wrote have meaningful stories, fused with literary symbols and depth. Unlike most of modern authors today who write just for the sake of writing, and their stories are about lust, being famous, rich, beautiful, and all of the other worldly pleasures.

With that said, the only things I'll be writing here are short stories that are continuations of unfinished and random topics of books I like. For example, I would write about the unfinished and mysterious ending of A Series of Unfortunate Events, or what really happened in the world of Charn, as seen in The Magician's Nephew, etc.

My favorite authors, some with their respective series, are:
Lemony Snicket, A Series of Unfortunate Events
C.S. Lewis, The Chronicles of Narnia
Amy Tan
George Orwell
G.P. Taylor, The Dopple Ganger Chronicles
Tea Obreht
Herge, The Adventures of Tintin

Outside of literature, as I've already said, I like art, A lot. I like to paint, whether on paper, carboard or canvas, and using different mediums, whether it be tempera or oil.

As for music.. I like contemporary, modern music. I like Taylor Swift, Gloc-9 but especially Lorde. I like Gloc-9's songs because they have very great meanings about the common life of Filipinos, especially the corrupt officials here. I like Lorde a lot, too. She is spooky, gothic, quirky, and her songs are medieval-like, catchy, and meaningful. She satirizes society's ills in her songs.

Most of all, I like pokemon A LOT.

Kthxbye
