I am professor of medieval history at Cardiff University in Wales, U.K. I have researched and published widely on the crusades, the Knights Templar and Hospitaller and medieval fictional literature. I am currently studying the estates of the Knights Templar in Britain at the time of the Brothers' arrest and trial, 1308-13. My Wattpad publications are my transcriptions of the accounts that King Edward II's officials drew up for each of the Templars' estates. The accounts are in Latin, but I hope to translate them all into English eventually.
