I've always loved speculative fiction, mostly because I've always seen reading and writing as a means of escape, a way to run away from real life-just for a little while-and get lost in the impossible.

I started writing seriously when I was 14. When I wasn't participating in one of my many extracurricular activities, I spent my high school years telling my best friend fantastical stories all about the glamorous lives we would one day lead. These tales held everything from witches to vampires to rock concerts to boys with extremely talented teeth. David Bowie made many an appearance. We passed notes that were really stories and half-heartedly tried to avoid dirty looks from our teachers.

Nowadays, I am raising a family while sharing my stories and using my experience in publishing to provide editing, design, and consulting services to other authors.

I believe that good stories unite us as human beings. They entertain us and give us hope, even when the world around us seems to be falling apart.

Since I decided to start publishing my fiction, I have won second place in fiction in the 2016 Blue Ridge Writers Golden Nib contest for my suspense short story "Transgression" (published in Skyline 2017). My fantasy short story "Fly," the prologue to Raven Thrall, was originally published in November 2017 in the VWC Centennial Anthology 1918-2018.

My debut novel, Raven Thrall, was published in March 2018.

A prequel novella to Raven Thrall, called Healer's Sacrifice, was published in late July of 2018. The second book in the Legends of the Ceo San series, Revelation of the Dragon, is also well under way.

I'm growing my list of books and short stories as quickly as I can while trying to remain at least partially sane and still put food on the table.

You can find me online on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Now on Wattpad: Blood Mastery: The Vampire Protection Council Book 1 (an urban fantasy/lesbian paranormal romance crossover). New chapters every Monday.
