Children's librarian and mom. In my laughably small amount of spare time I can be found on my patio (slab of concrete) behind my house, rain or shine, relaxing and reading or  typing furiously while hiding from my three inquisitive little girls who only seem to want to talk to mom when she's writing. 

The Broken Veil is the first story in a high fantasy quartet that is completely written. I am now working on a follow-up trilogy. For Nanowrimo 2018 I finally started a historical fiction novel I've been interested in for a long time. Based on family history, it takes place in France, Bavaria, New York, New Orleans, and St. Louis in the 1850s.
