Katie Hamstead

My name is Katie J Teller (maiden name and pen name Hamstead.) I am a 1986er and proud! I was born and raised Aussie, but now live in Arizona with my Navajo husband and beautiful little girls.

I love storytelling and have since I was very young. I remember as a child my Dad would tell my sister and me bedtime stories about grand adventures through the bush which probably prevented sleep more than put us to sleep! But it was the seed of creativity I needed to start telling my own stories.

My debut novel, Kiya: Hope of the Pharaoh is an Amazon bestseller, hitting the top 100 three times in the paid store, and reaching #3 in the Free store. Book 2 of the Kiya trilogy, Kiya: Mother of a King, and book 3, Kiya: Rise of a New Dynasty are now available through Curiosity Quills Press. Curiosity Quills also has the first book of my Fairytale Galaxy Chronicles signed; The Princess of Tyrone.

 My standalone novels, Branded, and Dancing in the Athenian Rain, are published through Soul Mate Publishing.
