A lot of people have asked me, "How did you Come up with the story? Did you plan it?"

Answer:

When I write, I write episodic, normally intense moments I felt like writing.  Then swish these episodes around and fill in the blanks between them (the order you see it now is no way the order I wrote it).  But for what I write, it's mostly spew of conscious surrealist writing.  I don't even know what's going to happen until I write it. For example, I didn't know what Lilly was until it was said in chapter 10, and didn't know what that meant till chapter 12.  I get into a moment, write whatever keys my fingers hit, then go through it later (heavy editing of course).  This is why the story takes unexpected turns, why its so radically different. The moment the reader sees it is the moment I saw it when writing.  The story transforms with my moods and is totally unconventional.
