A transplanted MidWestener I've been bringing my Illinois sensibility to stage plays. Along the way I wrote a thriller: A Bridge to Treachery. I think writing a novel is like 'opening up' a play.

I began a seven year Airborne Ranger Infantry career in the mud in Germany, commanded Basic Trainees at Fort Knox, and completed his military service after a tour in Vietnam as an ARVN Ranger battalion advisor. I've written non-fiction articles for outdoor magazines, as well as numerous plays, and short fiction and am currently at work on a sequel to "A Bridge to Treachery." Jan and I have five children between us, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. "Children ourselves when we wed?" Of course. And we live in splendid isolation on the coast of Maine.
