Hello my beautiful little bunch of lovelies,

I can’t apologise enough for how quiet I’ve been, but as some of you know, my father was seriously ill, and passed away in November last year. It’s been quite a time of adjustment for me, having to deal with his loss, sorting all the ‘dadmin’ relating to his death out, and just generally trying to figure out what a new ‘normal’ looks like for me. If I’m honest, I’m still struggling on that last one.

Anyway, I’ve been writing sporadically, so don’t worry, Holly & Jackson haven’t been completely neglected during this time. My writing mojo is not fully back, but I’m taking baby steps, and now have 13 chapters of the sequel written. My plan is still to start publishing when I’ve got enough under my belt to be able to stick to a posting schedule.

I’ve also been giving a lot of thought to Bar Room Angel, which remains unfinished…much to the annoyance of some readers. It’s been a big niggle for me too, and I’m going to put my cards on the table with you. It was my first ever attempt at creating a story, and it helped me to realise that I could build something that people would read, but I lost my way with it thanks to the idea of A Fractured Echo taking over every waking thought I had. So, I have decided that I’m going to remove the story from Wattpad on 30th April 2019. It’s not forever. I just feel it needs seriously reworking, and a proper ending to be created. My aim is to give you what you want and deserve eventually with Bar Room Angel, but I need to get Holly’s journey finished first.

Fingers crossed you won’t be too annoyed with me, but I can promise you that the sequel to A Fractured Echo is over half written now, and I should be able to start posting before the end of the year.

In the meantime, I just wanted to thank you for reading, for commenting and voting, and for basically sticking with me even though I’ve been a bit flaky to say the very least.

          	Huge love to you all,
          	Lou xxx

Hello Lou,
i hope you are doing fine and are still active here.
i’ve just listened to a podcast about twilight and the many fanfics it inspired and your story “Bar Room Angel” came to my mind. I loved it and would love to read it again

Well hello you beautiful bunch. It has been far too long since I popped by to say hello, and for that I can only apologise. I have been squirreling away with my laptop working on the sequel to A Fractured Echo. So far, it's been steady progress with the next part of Holly & Jackson's journey, and it's coming together nicely, so I'm fairly certain you'll start getting chapters before the end of the year.

There's already been heaps of #TeamJackson feels with what's been written, even though it's quite rough & ready. I can already see that my trusty red pen will be getting a proper work out as I fine tune each part to make sure it's up to scratch for you all.

I'm still a little shocked at AFE being named one of the 'Best of the Undiscovered' in The Literary Awards 2017. It all seems so long ago that there was all that crazy voting going on (summer last year), and I've totally been rubbish at acknowledging all my readers hardcore commitment to securing Holly & Jackson's moment in the spotlight.

To all the new readers & followers who have come on board since the award was announced a littler earlier this year. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and dive into Holly's world of mystery, intrigue and romance. I hope you're enjoying the ride, and all its bumps.

It goes without saying that if it wasn't for every single one of you who keeps reading, voting and commenting then Wattpad would be a blooming dull place to be. You're all awesome, and I know I say it frequently, but.....THANK YOU!!!

I also want to give a big shout out to @LouiseLLawrence and her story Blue Comes Through which also picked up a 'Best of the Undiscovered' award with me. You can read her fabulous work here ---> https://www.wattpad.com/user/LouiseLLawrence

Until next time, much love to you all,
          Lou xx

Long time no speak my lovelies!

I wanted to drop in on you all before 2017 draws to a close, and extend festive wishes to you all. Hopefully you had a wonderful Christmas, and have something suitably fabulous (or at least cosy) planned for New Year.

I'm sorry for the radio silence since the final chapter of AFE posted at the end of October. It's been such a crazy couple of months, but I've been absolutely blown away by your amazing response to the last couple of chapters that I posted. I know I left things on a cliff-hanger for Holly & Jackson, and a lot of you are thirsty for more of our lovebirds. Trust me, there is soooooo much more to tell you about them, that it feels as though I’ve only just scratched the surface with them.

Since the start of November, whilst I’ve not been writing as such, there’s been some furious planning for the sequel which will continue to have twists & turns for you to sink your teeth into, along with some swoony moments. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to give you full on shmexy because let’s face it, I proved with BRA that I can’t write that stuff for toffee, so best just save myself the shame of it being awful. I will however do my best to give you some solid gold Jackson moments as he cranks up the ‘woo’ with Holly.

I'm planning on writing most of the story and editing before I publish anything. I know this means there will be a delay in you getting some Hollson action, so I’ll apologise for that in advance, but hopefully the delayed gratification will be worth it.

Before I sign off for the year, I also wanted to say a huge thank you to every one of you that’s read, voted for & commented on my stories, and hit the ‘follow’ button. Your support has meant the world to me during what has been an incredibly difficult year.

Wishing you all an amazing New Year, and a wonderful 2018.

          Big love,

          Lou xxx

Hello my beautiful, beautiful readers,

I just wanted to let you know that you should be getting the FINAL 2 CHAPTERS of A Fractured Echo this coming weekend. Nope, you're definitely not seeing things, I am absolutely promising you a double dose of Holly & Jackson to wrap the first part of our favourite girl's journey, in less than 7 days!

Stay tuned my lovelies, because according to my gorgeous proof reader (AKA hubby dearest), you are in for a bit of a treat as you feast your peepers on what I've written. Believe it or not he used phrases like 'squealing' and 'major feels', plus he's totally #TeamJackson like the rest of you.

So sit tight, just a couple more days and you'll get some answers to things that have been bugging you hugely as the story has progressed.

          Much love,
          Lou xx

Hi everyone,

First off, I owe you all the biggest of apologies for keeping you hanging for Ch24 of AFE. I didn't plan on making you wait longer than usual, so I'm throwing myself at your feet to grovel.

The good news is that you'll have it TOMORROW!!! AAAAAAAAnnnnnndddd, you won't have much of a gap before you get Ch25 either, as it's sitting on my desk with a red pen waiting to attack it.

We're almost at the finish line with this book, but I'm sort of stuck in the middle of 26, and it's not coming to me right now, but hopefully with my kids going back to school this week, I'll be able to get my focus back.

When this book is wrapped, I'll be straight on to the sequel, but I've got some planning/research to do and then I'll be able to crack on with it. You'll have to bear with me in terms of posting as I want to just be able to write, and write, and write without any pressure of a posting schedule. I'll keep you updated on progress though, so you know how it's going.

I also wanted to pass on my immense gratitude for the way you all voted relentlessly for AFE in The Literary Awards across June-August. Your tenacity was relentless, and while we have to wait a short while for the results, you guys were phenomenal, so thank you doesn't really feel adequate, but it's all I've got. Even if we don't win anything, the love & support you showed is more than enough for me.

Right, I've bored you lot for long enough. Time to sign off, and keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for the AFE update.

          Much love,
          Lou xx
