Creator of tv shows EXTANT (CBS, starring Halle Berry and Executive Produced by Steven Spielberg and Amblin Television), REVERIE (NBC, starring Sarah Shahi, Executive Produced by Amblin Television), Consulting Producer on MARS (NatGeo, Executive Produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer at Imagine Television) and Season Two of JACK RYAN (Amazon, Executive Produced by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland), Co-Ep of THE STRAIN (FX, Executive Produced by Carlton Cuse, Chuck Hogan, and Guillermo Del Toro). Currently co-creator and showrunner of FIREKEEPER'S DAUGHTER for Netflix, based on the novel by Angeline Boulley.

Mickey is originally from Ironton, Ohio and went to The University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music where he majored in Musical Theatre. He's a genre fan at heart and most of his writing falls into the categories of grounded near-future sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal thrillers, and crime fiction.
