Darrell Khaners was best known for his sultry, erotic poetry but in 2019, he collaborated to co-write and published The Dark Roots of Desire with E.J. Reine. Dark Roots is a unique romantic novel that is written from both points of view, the male and female, simultaneously. Reviews have stated how quickly they succumbed to the descriptive details and sultry scenes throughout the novel.
Mister Khaners also launched a new paranormal romance book, The Hidden Legacies Saga. The Saga follows two Hidden Legacy New Bloods as a dark war is brewing within the shadows of everyday life. The elders, who delve into black magick and voodoo, will face a challenge from the younger generation, the Valas, as they fight for control of the offspring who has a powerful lineage of black magick.
