I wrote a blurb for my upcoming book. It’s a little unconventional. What do you think? Does it work for you?

          	HARSH TRUTHS

“Doesn’t any adventure start with a single step into the unknown? Some take that leap of faith. Some are pushed. And some are tormented by their past until their true self deep down wakes and takes up the gauntlet.

I’m told an unfortunate side-effect is discovering that your true self is not who you hoped it to be. But there are worse fates in this world than being disappointed with yourself. You could spend the rest of your life, like me, frantically trying to bury it all back in the deepest pit of your mind.

Still. Change comes to us all, whether we like it or not. And when death came, taunting me, it wasn’t gloom it eventually led me to, but light. A thief, looking for a magical key all his life, hoping to unlock his destiny. And a woman, lost in her own darkness, searching for herself. Suffice to say they both found something much bigger than they had set out to. But then again, what else is there to do when you’re afraid of the dark? You need to burn bright and light the way. Strike that match and start living while there’s still time. My name is Kristian del Rosso and you best buckle up if you’re ready for this ride!”
