Just catching up after an extended vacation, I hope you're all well, and all is well in the wattpad world?
I just noticed that a few of my last poems I set to publish later seem to have gone under the radar, so republished a few in the 'He Without Sin' book, as well as added a new poem to there called 'Out Of Sight'. As a work in progress piece it would be great to get any feedback on any of the poems in that book :)
Will take some time over this weekend to catch up on my reading lists and notifications. Have a great Memorial Day/Spring Bank Holiday weekend to all celebrating.

Anyone else have really lucid dreams?
I actually made a point of noting down last night's. It woke me up in a panic. Turned it into a little poem called 'The Reporters' which I added to my 'Tidbits' book. It was super random!

@Mrsbinlid Yeah, I do. Sometimes their super weird and random, and sometimes their extremely real and very specific. I can usually control what I dream about, and I almost always remember them.

Happy Friday guys! Was it just me or was Wattpad so full of bugs and glitches yesterday? Just kept getting a 502 bad gateway anytime I clicked a CTA. Hope everyone has some nice weekend plans. I get to see my favourite band Lit playing in Vegas tonight. Never saw them for 20+ years and now this is my 4th time in 2. In their honour I wanted to share one of my favourite lyrics of theirs from their 'A Place in the Sun' album from back in the day. This one is from the song 'The best is yet to come undone'.
'And they try to find a way to make me something that I'm not'.
I'm sure that resonates with a few more people than just me :)

Apparently it's big word day so dropped a poem of mine that deliberately uses big words which I don't normally do :D It's in my tidbits album if anyone wants to check it out. Doe's everyone have a favourite big word they like to whip out on special ocassions?

Just started uploading my next book - He Without Sin. A poetry book on the theme of the seven deadly sins. My first poem is one for Envy, with further poems coming the next few days. I hope you like it :)

question for all you poetry lovers out there. How many poems would you say were a good number for a book? Do you think photos add or detract to the book of they relate to the poems?

@Mrsbinlid i would say between 30-40. if the poems aren't too long that would be ideal. i think photos can help but also, if you want your reader to have imagination, it might hinder in some instances

Idk what your poetry book is about. It really depends on how you've themed it and what concept you're going for imo. If it's a very specific theme then I doubt you can write too many chapters. And if there are too many, it might take away from the excitement of the book, as things might get repetitive or smth.
For my current project, I'm not set on numbers. I'm planning to release as many as I can. But since it's a different concept than anything you lot are doing I can't have a say.
But for a normal poetry book I'll be releasing next, maybe a haikyuu, I'd go for smth like 40-60 chapters, perhaps.

@Mrsbinlid I haven't read professional poetry books so I can't give a perspective from that side. But I guess anything more than 50-60 chapters would be too long. I don't really mind photos. Just don't add too many
