I have been writing since the age of seven when I had my first work published in a National Teacher's Journal. Since then I have gone on to be published in a wide range of media and have produced work ranging from professional articles to short stories and poetry. I was for several years a regular contributor to a travel magazine and was editor for a National Stress Journal. Currently I run a Life History writing group and assist members to record living memories that might otherwise be lost to future generations. I have just published 'North East in Eden' a collection of poetry and am working on my next publication of short stories. I write reviews for Authors and contribute to a number of blogs. In my non-writing life I enjoy attending classical music concerts and catching up with reading for pleasure. Living in the ancient city of York gives me the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of cultural activities as well as enjoying time in the Moors and Dales enjoying the spectacular scenery.
