From as early as age 4 I knew that being artistic was very strong part of who I was. It was a passion that would define how I viewed the world, how I would articulate my emotions and express myself, and this knowledge saw me all the way to university where  I studied  Drama, Classical Civilizations and Music . After university, being a full on creative, I went to film school, which further sparked the story teller in me. I love all kinds of stories from all over the world.  An avid book reader, some of my favourite authors are Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, Ken Follet, Zadie Smith and Arundhatii Roy. A special mention to JK Rowling whose work has been so inspirational.  I love Japanese Anime and  my favourite Anime director is Makoto Shinkai. His stories always resonate deeply with me. Watching Japanese anime led me to watching Asian Dramas and now I'm thoroughly hooked on  J, K and C drama.  In fact it was my love for a particular C drama (Meteor Garden 2018) that led me to Wattpad. I'm a #Dyshen shipper and discovered this app through the fan fiction. Access to all the different stories on this app has been a wonderful discovery.

My first Novel Majesta, is part one of 'The Dreama Chronicles' which is a trilogy. Majesta is situated in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, a majestic range of mountains and forests. The reason why I chose this setting is because, I myself am from Zimbabwe and whenever I visit the Eastern Highlands I am always overwhelmed by the beauty and the mystical qualities that pervade the atmosphere. The school however is a global village as illustrated through its many inhabitants. In that sense, I draw from my own experience of the high school I attended, where I had the opportunity to learn with people from all over the world.  Majesta is a window that shows the world that although we are all from different parts of the world, we are the same in our pursuit of happiness. The world of Fantasy makes me and millions of other people happy.
