Heyo, my precious smol beans! Guess who's back online :D (and replying to messages later...yuuup, i'm actually gonna be replying to stuff! stay tuned for chaos mwah <3) How's everyone doing? How has your day been? Are you holding up well?
          
          Sooo I'm a bit late buuut I'm here with the super exciting news I was talking about, which is: The Soulmate Paradox has received its 6TH OFFICIAL WATTPAD FEATURE!!! Yup, TSP has once again been officially featured on Wattpad, in their reading list for Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! As an Asian writer who writes Asian characters (looking at you guys, Jeong-Soon and Gregory <3) this means a lot to me, and I'm super grateful for this opportunity!
          
          Besides that, we've also hit 120k reads on TSP, and like...that's actually insane. Thank you so so much for all the love and support on my baby. I've said this so many times, but I really never expected TSP to reach these heights back when I first started writing it in 2021, and thank you so much for all your support. Words really genuinely can't express how grateful I am. Thank you ❤ and to all the new readers, welcome!
          
          I've been really really busy lately (just started uni, transferred to science stream, and have been admittedly spending most of my days getting drunk with my classmates instead of yk actually showing up to class LMAO) but I'm settling down a little now so I should have a little more time, haha :D Hope everyone's doing really really well, and I hope to catch up with everyone really soon! (with some new content...i'm still working on the upcoming book ;P gay romance again baybeee)

So...what's going to happen now? I won't be very active for a little while longer as I'll be very busy for the next week (I've been living off caffeine and a prayer for the last month and my body literally HATES me now), but I do hope to gradually increase my activity on here again, depending on my uni, job, and life schedule. 
          
          I plan to release at least one new book this year, two if I can manage. I'm already halfway through the first one, so I hope to have it completed by mid-2024 to share with everyone! (Spoiler: it's a MxM YA romance! Very on-brand haha) I also plan to do a full profile revamp soon, in which I'll clean up a few things, decide which books to keep (TSP is NOT going anywhere, dw) and hopefully start a new era?

Older, not very much wiser, and I wish I could say happier because I really wish that were true. Hello. I've said that already. Let me start over. 
          
          Heyo, my precious smol beans! How are you doing? Hope everyone's doing well. I'm sorry I've been MIA for so long. Truth be told, life has well. Not been very kind to me, so I just haven't really been active on social media in general. Like, my Ao3's on hiatus, my Discord's semi-IA, my Wattpad's pretty dead, what the heck is an Insta, oh and I have a Twitter now. Which is currently on hiatus. Fun. 
          
          I've been struggling a lot with health issues recently, both physical and mental. My anxiety is the worst it's been so far and every single bad gene I inherited has been conspiring against me to absolutely ruin my body. (Seriously, I've been in and outta the hospital so much...rip that insurance aye) I also changed course streams recently (from PURE ART to SCIENCE...I know. I don't know why I did it either.) also my house flooded and i also unsuccessfully tried to kill myself and also i may be getting tested for BD soon ahahaha but let's not talk about that---ANYGAYS, yeah. I also started uni pretty recently because life must go on. 
          
          So yeah. Life is. Busy! Which is why I've been MIA for the past year. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I keep apologising, but in the end, all I can say is...well, I'm sorry. I really am. I'm sorry that I can't keep myself together, I'm sorry that I can't get my life under control. I'm sorry that I abandoned all of you. I'm sorry that I keep making promises I can't keep. [2/3]

Heyo, my precious smol beans. Wow, it's really been a while since you last saw that greeting, right? It's Alex here, aka Nicoismysenpai. It's been a really long time, and...well, hi? How's everyone doing? Are you all alive, kicking, doing well? 
          
          It's come to my attention that Wattpad will be closing DMs on May 6th. Admittedly, I've been very bad with DMs, because I keep thinking, "oh, I'll find the time to reply later" and then I never have the time. I thought I had all the time in the world. But now, it looks like I've run out of time. 
          
          I don't think words can describe how sad I am over this change, as Wattpad has long been a place for me to communicate and socialise with online friends, and their DM system was a big part of what set this site apart from others for me, even though I haven't used it in a long while. I've had so many sweet moments with friends over DMs where we would chat for hours, and even though many of those friends (including me in a way, I guess) are gone now, I still keep many of those chats as a piece of remembrance and would love to continue keeping them, at the very least. 
          
          To Wattpad, this is an open letter to beg you to reconsider removing/deleting the DM system, as it is not only a way for us to communicate with our friends, but also a piece of history that cannot be replaced. Please. 
          
          However, whatever decision they choose, I will still be staying on Wattpad, since I've been horribly inactive lately so I suppose it won't be much of a difference for me either way. [1/3]
