A lot of people try to write aesthetically, being descriptive and poetic. I, however, am more concerned with getting my point across than telling you a blood moon is pure evil beauty. 
          	It's just a cool and somewhat creepy phenomenon. I see no need to describe it beyond "blood-stained moon".
