Roxy

Roxy lives on the shores of Lake Superior with her husband and their two teenagers.  She spends her days as a waitress and running the day-to-day's of their family owned business--Roxy's Lakeside Grill.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, running, writing and of course spending plenty of time and laughs with her family.  

Her love for writing began at an early age and only blossomed throughout her school years.  In her late 20's she wrote three Mystery/Suspense novels, two of which hit the Self Publishing market,  several of her short stories have receiver 'runner-up' statuses in online contests with one  receiving 1st prize in Suspense Magazine's 2010 contest.

Her passion never ceased as she spent her time  working on short stories and researching ways to hone her skills.  Now over ten years later she is re-emerging in a new genre with a new perspective on her future writing career.  

"I've learned many things in these ten years and look forward to growing over the next thirty.   My passion for writing keeps me moving forward and I hope to one day be able to let someone else take the reigns of our restaurant so I can sit overlooking lake Superior with my laptop and a dream."
