I've been away for months and months, but have managed to add another chapter to the Fire Stone(even though I pressed publish by mistake, so its not finished) Not sure I like the 'new format' of writing, can't find the spell checker, and I need a spell checker!!

So just start with the Chapters + Scenes parts and get used to that. I like that you can just move them around wherever you want and shuffle them like a deck of cards without a bunch of searching+finding+cut+paste nonsense.
I love ywriter but it hates 64bit Windows 7 for some odd reason.
For ywriter I suggest just using the basics first then adding in the other features at your leisure.
Another tip. Always save a few RTF files too as well as the regular save. If you have to switch computers or move the story about to other computers--this is a lifesaver.
yes.... in the middle of reading write of way.... down loaded some thing from your link (characters, scenes, locations, items, etc) not sure how it works yet -not sure it will work with me. (the ywriter) after 13/14 years and trillions of words I still think I'll keep my 'notes' in a file (and in my head and in diaries) even though it adds up to a bigger door step than the books themselves! will let you know!

Just posted the latest Chapter...unlike the last chapter, this one hasn't been read my anyone yet... so there's bound to be a few mistakes. Sorry it's been ages undating but the bit I took out confused the rest of the story so I had to put them back...

Sorry, not really a new chapter, just the beginning of what was The Mapmaker. Because it was so long I cut a few things out, now I've put them back in and chopped the chapter in two. Next chapter is the rest of the Mapmaker and then the new chapter later....hope I've added them in the right order...
