Being a hermit must be so infuriating.

Imagine you make a decision that you want to be alone. You never want to see anyone else or civilization for a long time.

And then all of sudden. Boom! Some people calling themselves pilgrims decide they will flock in their thousands with the sole aim of seeing you every day.

Before you know it, you are a local celebrity and in comes the cameras and flashing lights following you everywhere you go, analyzing your every move.

Moving to a more isolated or harsher terrain won't matter, it will only serve you to make you more famous, with people making it their quest to scale mountains to come to where you are.

Imagine you're trying to explain to an old timey peasant above how great it must have been to live in the time of Shakespeare.

Then they hit you with the:

"Oh! You mean that cruel bread Lord. My whole family starves regularly so that he can make a quick coin."

This is actually true by the way.

@Cocosghost The peasant isn't laughing that's for sure

There’s a passage in the Principia Discordia where Malaclypse complains to the Goddess about the evils of human society. “Everyone is hurting each other, the planet is rampant with injustices, whole societies plunder groups of their own people, mothers imprison sons, children perish while brothers war.”

The Goddess answers: “What is the matter with that, if it’s what you want to do?”

Malaclypse: “But nobody wants it! Everybody hates it!”

          Goddess: “Oh. Well, then stop.”

Damn. The entire human race roasted in two sentences.

Person walks into a bank.

          Person: I desperately need money.

Bank: Sorry, that's not how it works.

Person: I have a wife and a son.

          Bank: Sorry, can't help you.

          *Scenario 2*

Person: I have a knife and a gun

Bank: Oh okay, here you go. Take whatever you want.

          Makes you think doesn't it?
          Says something about our society

I read your comment in 'Sweet Disorder,' a favorite book of mine. This led me to this conversation section of yours; it was fun, like reading the mail of someone's with a keen sense of irony and sarcasm. Your next book ought to have much of that, like MoodyMooseMouse's. It's not a common genre in Wattpad... Respectfully.
