Hi everyone,

I have an announcement to make: I'M NOT DEAD!

Thank you to everyone who has sent me sweet messages over the last few weeks. I really didn't mean to worry any of you, I've just been... having a bit of a time. Nothing interesting. Just work. And life. You know how it is.

BUT I've finally managed to get my shiz together, and have actually written something! There will be a new chapter of Touch posted tomorrow. It's all there, I just need to edit it. So, that's exciting.

See you soon (and it really will be soon this time)

          	Soup Xx

@VVSoup Aww well you're welcome and I'm glad I could help even if it was just via technology from across the ocean. I'd have helped in person too if I could've.

Hi.Just finished the faintest ink and went to look for the sequel but saw that you haven't started .I really love your talent and the way you can make different unrelated characters flow seamlessly. Please make a sequel.I really need the story to continue.

Hello!!! Which comes first the Seelie or Unseelie? Or is it completely different stories with the same setting? :0

VVSoup

@orchidwood Exactly. Read them in any order you fancy.

Flixir

@VVSoup so it doesn't matter which order I read in?

VVSoup

@orchidwood Hello! Good question! The short answer is that neither Seelie or Unseelie come first as they both take place in exactly the same timeline. The events in chapter one of Seelie happen in tandem with the events in chapter one of Unseelie. There's a better explanation at the beginning of each story, in the parts called: Instruction for those considering reading this novel.

@sangolover1 Hello! Don't worry! I'm alive... just about. Although the guilt of not posting anything is churning away and eating up my insides.

I'm just going through work hell at the moment. Usually I hate it when people give that as an excuse - how hard is it to write a few hundred words before bed? - they soon add up! But it just ain't happening for me. By the time I get home, even making dinner, or having a shower, is a challenge too far. Writing is out of the question. Even something as simple as a note telling people what was up. I've been meaning to post something (kinda... like this... I suppose) pretty much every morning for the past fortnight, but... I just wasn't happening.

BUT I should be coming to the end of it soon (my print deadline is next Monday... ergh), so *hopefully* a new chapter will be coming your way shortly.

A thousand apologies. And thank you for checking in. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

@VVSoup so at one stage you told us about the novels and how we should pick a side. Well, I'm with the UnSeelie as well. My only reason at this stage is that the first two chapters of The Seelie side does not paint a flattering picture. The only characters we meet are the princess, the Chancellor and a brief appearance from a maid. The Unseelie side is vibrant and rich with laughter and the requisite evil mother, favorite brother and comic character. I might change my allegiance at a later stage but this is where I stand. For now. So bring me into the light. If you dare.

Hi my loves!

Here's ANOTHER note from me without an update to go with it... I swear they're coming!

For those that are following the Un/Seelie novels, I warned you in the preface that all readers need to pick a side: Seelie or Unseelie... and so far it looks like most of you are siding with the Unseelie! The winter court has stormed ahead of the summer one and looks like it's going to reach the first milestone (100 reads) well ahead of its Seelie counterpart.

If you're a suspected Seelie, now's the time to get involved! Your faerie court needs you!

@FreedomToTheReaders You affiliation has been noted and will be passed on to the relevant authorities...

And one can never trust a chancellor.... except for Merkel. Possibly.

@FreedomToTheReaders was treated and the chancellor seems shifty even for the fae folk.
