Cinder watches musicals

Hi, I'm Cinder. I speak Dutch and English fluently. I'm 19 years old and I'm taking a gap year, hoping to study theatre next year. I consider myself a storyteller first and foremost, and you see that both in the works that I create and the media I consume.

I used to be pretty solely interested in musical theatre, but lately I've also become interested in classic literature and historical clothing. The Lizzie Bennet Diaries has made me fall in love with Jane Austen novels and transmedial interactive storytelling. I think both The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 achieve a truly exceptional level of storytelling, creating a complete experience and involving the audience. But I will never forget my musical theatre roots. Shows like Annie, Gebroeders Leeuwenhart, Wicked, Hamilton, Spring Awakening, De Tweeling, Newsies, Daddy Long Legs, Great Comet and Hadestown have influenced the way I see theatre, art, storytelling and just life for good.
