The Writer's Circle is a group which welcomes a range of writers from all walks of life to gather together to support each other through their endeavours. The private group allows you to post questions about writing, short snippets for advice, questions to engage with other writers, and a daily prompt to help your creativity flow.
We've also got a group chat which helps everyone stay connected to each other. You can post and chat in their freely or not at all if you don't want to.
We've got a Writer's Circle that runs once per week which allows for flexibility and new members to step right in and start participating. It's certainly easier to judge what you're doing for the week than a whole thirteen weeks (for example) like you might be subjected for a book club in the forums.
Our group members doc allows you to put down your Facebook name, Wattpad username and profile link which potentially opens you up to a whole new connection of writers. We currently have 100+ members, with the number rising rapidly each day.
Being connected to a broad range of writers means you could find potential readers here.
We currently have three resource files happening - all members are allowed (encouraged) to contribute any helpful resources they've found. We've got tips of giving, receiving, and self critiquing your work, editing and writing tips.
You can participate as much or little as you like. All members are free to join and leave as they please. This is a support group with the main goal to be beneficial for everyone, not a requirement,
If you're not comfortable with sharing your Facebook profile, or don't have one. A large population of Wattpad users (myself included) have started making up accounts dedicated to their writing. This gives us an advantage to promote to a larger scale on people off Wattpad, participate in other groups, events and net worth with established writers in this field.
