Hey, quick question, so I’m writing a fanfic currently and I wanted to know what was your average word count per chapter?
@Emily_2010_Hamilton yeah same here! I prefer short chapters too but most of the time mine are at least 1500-2000 mostly because I feel like longer chapters give more depth to the chapters and it doesn't feel as rushed for me! But do whatever floats your boat, you know? And good luck! :)
@Emily_2010_Hamilton Hey! I try to keep my chapters at 2500-3000 words. I found that works best for me, since I like shorter chapters more, but do whatever feels right. Have fun with your fic!!
