sry to all the other fics im lowkey ignoring as of now folks, if you're still waiting on an update for them (the Luke and Francesco ones mainly), i promise I haven't abandoned them. they're just on hold till June 16 while I rush to finish my HOTD fic.
LOL, so I finally watched bridgerton. Dare I say....I didn't like it. Feels bleh kinda. Like season 1 and 2 had tension/plot of some sort but I genuinely couldn't care less about any of the characters enough in this one.
Also I hate Colin lol. I'm sorry Pen deserves better, and colin is soo fkn annoying. Also what'd they do to my girl Eloise T_T
Anyways yeah I hate it. Just living off the benedict crumbs lmfao
@crierayla YESSS. like the kate x anthony crumbs were cute but other than that everyone is so one dimensional and there seems to be no real plot going on tbh. flat is exactly the word! very much downgrade from season 2 tbh
i’m only on ep2 of s3 but colin is annoying me so bad actually, have no idea what’s going on with eloise either and everything is falling pretty flat. uh oh
I kinda hope with the two parts it might be better once it’s all together I feel like some things were a bit adrift but I guess that also has to do with it being only four episodes

@Viseriya also to her, her family is the most important thing so she'd be willing to do anything to protect them and hide their sins. She'd do anything to cover up aemond and aegons sins, even if she disapproves of their actions
@ace_asterisk lol i don't think alicent is a hateful villain but I do think she truly deeply believes what she preaches. Manipulation is all she's ever known since Otto has drilled into her since a young age that rhaenyra is gonna have her family killed. So after blood and cheese, to alicent this is ottos words coming true. It's obvious that to her Luke's life is not gonna be worth as much as her "trueborn" grandson jaehaerys. So in her eyes rhaenyra is this terrible person Otto always warned her about. Like she isn't the worst person but she's not innocent either because she's swallowed the manipulation and regurgitates that harmful ideology to her own kids like Otto did, continuing the cycle of abuse (like she did when she made helaena marry aegon as a child bride). She's simply a product of her upbringing. I feel sorry for her and her lost youth but also cannot excuse the decisions she makes as an adult
