This song I wrote reminds me of 'Little Freak' by Harry Styles. Not sonically in any way, but in the way where you're thinking about someone in a positive light, whether it be a former love interest, ex-friend, or just the one that got away. You're not thinking about them in jealousy, or in spite that they moved on, you're just thinking about them.
          
          For me, this song really focuses on you were never that close with a person. You never saw the scars that they carried or their birthmarks. You never saw their flaws or their insecurities, maybe because you were too scared to be that vulnerable emotionally, or maybe neither of you opened up. It's when you fall really hard, really fast, even when you're not that close. You never had the chance to get close to them. Please go read my new song 'all alone'.

"It's hell on earth to be heavenly" from Clara Bow reminded me so much of the 1989 era. When she was shamed for dating too many guys; so she stopped dating and started hanging out with her friends, but was shamed for that too. When she was shamed for being too "fat", so then she stopped eating. But then she was too "skinny". This can just show how cruel the world is.
