G'day mates! My city may be amazing and where everyone wants to go to, but good lord is it expensive to live in! I need to move out of my current place (even though I love my cottage), but there's nothing in my budget for miles around! Ridic. Also, it's supposed to be all nice and breezy-cool during this start of summer, but it hit freaking 109 degrees here on the WC. Umm, swerve. Global warming needs to get it together lol
          
          How is everyone's writing coming along? Mine's non-existent tbh. One of my goals is to put a serious dent in Reload, buuuut that's the lowest on my list unfortunately. Is anyone pledged to #JustWriteIt 10,000 words this month for Pride month? And if you are, how is it coming along? Did anyone enter that contest for the book going to be sold at Target with all the original stories? (And will you be buying a copy if you didn't?) I'm not sure how it's going to be compiled, so I'm not sure about buying it, but I'll def look through it when I see it. Can you believe that we're almost halfway through 2016 already?! This is cRaZy! How is everyone doing on their goals for the year? I'm actually accomplishing mine! Yay :D Where I would be without Microsoft OneNote and Excel, I have no idea. They are ~lifesavers~, I swear. Excel formulas are ah-may-zing, esp for figuring out payments and money stuff. Yay for Medical debt -_- America needs to have free health care like practically every. other. country. They know what they're doing... #SorryNotSorryTrump
          
          Does anyone have any exciting news to share? I'm just doing my thing over here...OH! Speaking of news, I've never broke my phone or had my car vandalized/hit, but guess what's happened within the last 6 months? Yup, shattered my phone screen TWICE and got hit THREE times. This is ridiculous. And also, someone hit my car window with a baseball bat and cracked it -_- Don't hooligans have anything better to do at 1am? Well I guess not, since they wouldn't be hooligans if they did lol 2016 has been a tumultuous year for me and it's only half over!

It's March 1st...I can still count this as my monthly post for February, right? o.O 
          Oops...ANYWHO, how is everyone this tax season? If you're working this year please commiserate with me about how horrible taxes are -_- I worked for 3 different companies during 2015 and for the first two I had a refund of $344,  but once we added in the 3rd I ended up owing $304...HoW dOeS tHaT mAkE sEnSe? So upset right now; literally found out about it an hour ago *cries*
          
          Besides that horror story though, I'm in love! :D My trip to see my boyfriend in Australia, in person, for the first time, was AH-MAY-ZING and I couldn't ask for a better soulmate <3 (it's all very gag-worthy, I assure you) Of course, being me, I bought books while I was there and I stumbled upon a new favorite series! If you like Graceling, Hunger Games, The Selection, &/or Divergent, ya'll will love these books. The first is called Red Queen and the second is Glass Sword. Check it out & hit me up with your opinions!

          Turns out trying to renew your passport for international travel is hell. 10/10 don't recommend it -_- Literally 5 seconds away from becoming a terrorist & bombing the passport agency for their stupidity...it's a good thing I'm too lazy to kill anyone lol
          
          Besides that, life's fine. How is everyone else doing? Any New Year's resolutions? Personally, I have none this year...I don't feel like I have any direction that I should go in with my life. I have a feeling that this is my 'wait & see' year. I made major changes to my life in 2015, so I kinda feel like I've been reborn & need to take baby steps to see where I'm at. 
          
          I hope everyone's first day of 2016 was amazing and started everything off to a great beginning!

Monthly status update: my trip to Australia is F-I-N-A-L-L-Y coming together (I leave to visit my boyfriend -for the first time- on Jan. 29th and I only need to get the hotel & everything's done! Well, almost everything, but the big stuff is done. 
          
          I miss school so much now that my Medical Coding course is over that I'm planning on going back in 2016 to get a certificate for Editing/Copyediting (in Australia it's called sub-editing) and perhaps pursue a career with that...I'm a horrible Grammar Nazi lol
          
          And I'm still working on my writing. Just trying to get back into the groove of things, and mayhaps I'll take a writing course while I'm at it :D

Hello all! Hope everything is going well :) Just finished inventory of my wonderful followers & here is a status update: out of the 82 followers I had 6 months ago, 11 have disappeared (or at least their accounts have. I really hope they've activated new ones because no one should stray too far from Watty world for too long :D) & 3 have chosen to move along, which I totally respect especially after ditching you guys for so long without so much as a 'hey, I'm still breathing!" memo. 
          
          But I'm happy to say that I've jumped to 102 followers in my absence & I'd like to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who stayed with me while I went incognito for so long & a HUGE welcome & thank you to all 20 of my newcomers. Enjoy the ride!

Well this is embarrassing...I have a confession to make to you, my dear followers: within the last 6 months since I've last messaged everyone, I lost sight of my priorities and stopped writing. Some of it was because of my joblessness (happy to report that after 2 months of hell, I got a job with a marketing company that caters to real estate agents), some of it was because of my disorder (I'm clinically depressed/bi-polar & meds are not...always available), but some of it was because my passion faded away for my writing. I didn't want to do it, plain & simple. But after an unintended 6 month hiatus, I'll be putting more & more emphasis on getting my short stories up here  & posting new chapters to Reload :) For all of those who know me, you may expect a slow start, but I promise that things will start happening. I've already begun changing little thing here & there on Wattpad & my blog & I'm overhauling all of my social media so I'll be able to connect easier with all of you ;) I'll keep you patient angels in the loop as things get going!

So, bad news/good news: I lost my job :( They have really strict regulations about being late, and I never have been, but on the 1st I was 8 minutes late...so I don't have a job anymore :\ But I had a really hopeful interview yesterday, and another good one tomorrow, so I should be okay :) I'll keep you guys posted. The silver lining about this though is that I can write more! And focus on my school, so maybe I'll FINALLY be able to finish up my short story that's practically done and post it for all of you patient bunnies :)

Hey everyone! I know I basically disappeared for a month, but I'm happy to tell you awesome lil crumpets that the second chapter of Reload is up and ready for viewing and commenting :D I'm a month behind on my posting schedule, but I'm completing the 6th chapter, so once that's done I'll go back and edit the 3rd chapter for posting :D 
          
          In other news, my job is going well, I switched to a morning shift (4am-12:30 which is ridiculous -_-) so I'm not on graveyard anymore...but I might change back b/c getting up at 2am every morning is CRAZY. Oh, and I passed my first test in school, yay! I was obnoxiously nervous for no reason going into it, but it went good :D 
          
          Thank you guys again for keeping up with everything, and does anyone here like Papa Roach as much as I do??

Hey everyone! I know I'm a week late on getting this out to ya'll, but I FINALLY MOVED! *ahem* I mean, I finally left the loony bin :D I'm all on my own in this tiny, 2 room cottage that I'm slowly unpacking. And by slow I mean one book gets sat upright every day on the same shelf 0:) 
          
          I've finally started school, but the course doesn't officially start until next week *bites nails* I'll keep you guys posted on that, and how it'll effect my writing/posting. I'm not too worried because it seems like I'll be able to write at night while I'm working and then do my coursework during the day. Yay. 
          
          Best wishes to everyone, and remember that we 'spring forward' this weekend because of daylight savings! (Which makes me think that we should go back to farmer-time and work while the sun is up and sleep while it's down...or the other way around for us insomniacs lol)
