Darcy Debussy

Hi everyone! (: 

It's Darcy here. Actually, Darcy Debussy is just a pen name, but I've always loved the sound of it so I wanted to use it at some point in my life. Anyway, I'm a seventeen-year-old overdramatic, wanna-be-romantic, sappy high school student who loves to read and write, hence, here I am. My dream is to publish a book before I turn 24, so hopefully I can write a decent story in seven years. 

My favorite genres are teen fiction, romance, and humor. I absolutely adore cliche high school stories even though a lot of people say they're overrated. Honestly, they're so realistic--to my dreams *dramatic sigh*. I also enjoy some action and mysteries--absolutely adore Hercule Poirot and his "little grey cells" and any Agatha Christie book for the matter. 

I'm also a music lover. I've played violin for fifteen years and piano for about three years. I suck at piano but love downloading new sheet music and try to learn it myself. I listen to A LOT of OneRepublic and Maroon 5. "She Will Be Loved" is my ultimate favorite song forever and ever. 

I am definitely up for doing a read for read as soon as I get my first story up! I'm so excited to start writing and share it with you all (: I can't wait to read some of the amazing stories here too!
