I live the life of Riley on a shoestring in southern France, but until my novels hit the big time, that shoestring is going to have to keep on stretching.
I'm ageing faster than I used, but I've still got ambitions.
I love dark humour.
I write in my maiden name Celia Micklefield. I have a website in that name where I blog about all manner of things that take my fancy, including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, which didn't take my fancy, it just happened. Most people have never heard of it. I wish I hadn't!
I have a book of short stories on Amazon for Kindle and in paperback. It's called Arse(d) Ends because each story is inspired by a word ending in a.r.s.e. . Not surprisingly they're full of twists and surprises.
I also write women's fiction and you may have seen my short stories in Woman's Weekly from time to time.
I'm always writing. Though at present I'm hospitalised at a day clinic for my CRPS, I take my notebook along and I don't think it will be long before there's a story featuring physiotherapists to go into my next collection of dark tales.

My family saga Patterns of Our Lives is in its final edit. Chapters 1 to 5 are here on Wattpad for you to read. I'd love to know what you think.
