I'm totally not liking the idea of paid stories. I mean ppl deserve a chance to get money out of their creativity but if u observe, we have made everything in life about money.  Ppl r all about sharing art and spreading knowledge but even that is not free of cost.  Wattpad, for me, was about sharing the love of books. A place where u get to read exceptional books for freee.It's like the book heaven you've always wanted.  But  I'm scared that now  that this paid books option has been introduced here, the thirst for money is gonna take over this sacred book haven.  Within a month or two half of the books here might become paid!  Then book lovers like me who can't pay for them ( no matter how hard I wish I could) will lose their haven. Money shouldn't define everything that u get to enjoy in life. There r many other means to get it, many other sites like Raddish .
