I love mystery, procedural thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi, and sometimes a dash of contemporary drama and romanticism. I also love east Texas, Pennsylvania, the west coast from Vancouver downward, the Canadian east coast, and northern summers.

Sense of humour: Dry and sharp, like the wine your mother pretends to like when her friends are around but it actually makes her shudder.

Sense of gore: Minimal to moderate, with very focused purpose, like your favourite paring knife for slicing tomatoes and making them bleed all over.

Sense of adventure: Rather wild and off in left field somewhere. No cheesy comparisons come to mind.

Some of my favourite writers:

Meredith Rose (who can be found here on Wattpad!). Stephen Lawhead. Francine Rivers. J. Mark Bertrand. Tim Downs. Raymond Chandler. C.S. Lewis. Arthur Conan Doyle. Julian May. Anne McCaffrey. Ray Bradbury. Philip K. Dick. And Larry Niven, who is made of some strange genius-coloured substance.

Oh hey, see the "U" in "coloured"? I'm Canadian. I litter extra vowels all over the place. I've also worked as a fiction editor and had my stuff published by people other than me, which is a nice affirmation involving really no other rewards of substance.

Feel free to ask me questions or share your thoughts. I'm not on here all the time, but I'll reply when I am.
