          so, as you may or may not have seen, ferocious has been given an update after 10+ months. this was due to a couple of reasons—one, i was locked out of this account (this was so stressful lol; a huge props to the lovely admin staff who helped resolve this for me), and two, largely due to writer’s burnout. it is unfortunately one of those things where time—to be in both a good frame of mind and to sit down to produce work you’re happy with—is your best friend, and that can be tough in the grand scheme of life. i’m really glad to be back to finish this trilogy.
          
          secondly, as you also may or may not have seen, a new jurassic world move is in the works. it’s being directed by gareth edwards (rogue one hive) and written by david koepp (the lost world’s screenwriter, which is very cool!) 
          
          in terms of casting, nothing is set in stone as of yet, but a few names are rumoured to have been offered lead roles. i literally cannot make this up; dev patel is one of them.
          
          if this does eventuate, i’m not sure if alex’s faceclaim will need to be changed. as bittersweet as this would be; i would be so SO excited to see dev patel in the jurassic world universe. i hope that maybe my OC casted under him has given a small insight into how incredible he would be in these movies? jurassic would be very lucky to have him.
          
          anyway, we will take this all as it comes. i’m aiming to get new ferocious chapters out as soon as i can. i hope everyone has been doing okay :)
