Im an eclectic reader who wants to encourage writers especially young and beginners.
My daughter wrote so many stories and entered them in the Young Author's. In sixth grade she would have gone to State except one judge accused her of plagiarism! I never seen my daughter cry so hard. She stopped writing. The school refused to name what she 'plagiarized' (Which She Didn't Do!) I'm not defending her because I am her mother but because I know her character and ethics. So please Write Your Stories and don't be discouraged by others. To this day she has never written a story but she has achieved so many of her other goals, as well as, over coming difficulties. This incident was twelve years ago. I am so proud of all her! (I'm proud of my son too). ;) I wish they had outlets for this type of talent when my children were younger.
I have a warped sense of humor, love adventure and a little romance too. As one can see by my reading list, I enjoy many types of stories. Wow! that was a mouthful.... lol!
I am a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, Christian, a friend, a crafter, and so much more. So bring it on and help me escape my pain and depression (yes, I am disabled) by ready if only for a little while.
