Thirteen year old author. Ecstatic fan of "Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments," obsessed with Riverdale, head over heels in love with maybe a few too many fictional couples; my best friends own my heart and I love them to death.

I was born as Kyla Cate Shea, but I took the pen name Cate Petra when I came up with it in June 2019. I'm addicted to love stories, especially those such as Clace and Malec from Shadowhunters, and Bughead and Varchie from Riverdale. These ships have actually made an impact on my life, if I do say so myself, and I find inspiration with these great fictional lovers to write my own romances. I dream of finding it for myself, but I doubt that'll be happening anytime soon because no one from my middle school is my type or even at all very nice. Oh, the joy of being an eighth grader. 😂😂

Fun fact: Nathan Wagner is my favorite singer - songwriter and is also underrated as hell.

Another fun fact: weirdly, my best friends are the friends that live far from me.

Word of advice: love yourself not because you listen to people who discourage others and encourage you to do the same, but because you follow your own path, act kindly, and stand up against what isn't right.
