I originally opened this account because I planned to put my old fanfictions here when I got the chance. I wanted to do that in March of 2017, on my Spring Break. I didn't know that MissLiterati, the site that all of my stories were on, was scheduled for shutdown at the end of February. By the time I went back to start backing up my stories, it was already too late.
I only heard back from one person that I reached out to, who told me that they no longer had access to the archives, and that my only luck may come from checking if the WayBackMachine had archived any of my stories. It didn't. I tried several other archives without luck. The first stories I ever published online, the stories that launched me into being a full-blown writer, and the stories that brought me so many friends over the years, are gone.
I have no plans of closing this account. Maybe I'll find the energy to do something with it one day. Maybe something will happen that we'll have access to our stories again. I don't know. I wish I had acted sooner, because those stories were more than just dumb 1D fanfictions. They were a part of me and a part of my career as a writer. I'm devastated, as are many other people. And rightfully so.
