And the sun shined for her,
the moon glimpsed beside her window,
the stars brought on her feet.
ii.
But still her eyes sought the Great Beyond,
seeking for a heaven in the heavens,
asking what life could be --- what her life could be
if the boy worth a million stars, a thousand moons,
and a hundred suns,
is by her side, painting the brightest colors in her
black and white world.
