Hello! My name is Brooke. I started this account as lotrfangirl14 in 2014, changed it to Ellastaniel (ship name. don't ask), and then left it as BJKaplan for a long time. I've been inactive for about two years, but maybe I'll write here again for a while.

1. Music
  - I fell into the Kpop rabbit hole lol
  - Hardcore Owl City fan since about 2015

2. Books
  - Eragon. I'm on my third read-through.
  - I'm actually obsessed with my awesome ESV journaling Bible right now. Highly recommend journaling Bibles. Getchaself one.
  - Lord of the Rings. My first escape.
  - The Chronicles of Narnia, the Space Trilogy, and basically anything else by C.S. Lewis
  - Robin Hood and King Arthur and His Knights, by Howard Pyle. Probably the first really serious books I ever read (I was probably eight or so), and I fell in love.
  - The Silmarillion
3. Jesus
  - I am a Baptist. Yes, I do like contemporary Christian music. #onlybaptistsunderstand ;)
   - I'm still working on reading my Bible in the morning. IT HARD OK
4. Fangirl-ness
  - I don't even know how many times I've watched Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit? Tauriel doesn't exist, Peter Jackson. You have disappointed me greatly.
  - BTS, Super Junior, Pentagon, Monsta X, NCT, BIGBANG, Astro, EXO. Yes, I have biases, bias wreckers, and that one guy you just stan unconditionally for each group. Judge me
  - Owl City. Just...Adam Young is life. He has a girlfriend now and I'm proud of him. :3
  - My local teen outreach/mission organization. They honestly just mean so much to me. I'm so thankful for all of the amazing friends-both teens and adults-that I've made in the last year since getting involved with them.
