so tempted to include the "I wish you were a boy so it would be right to like you" scene in all my wlw fics bc what is a wlw fic without a good bit of internalised homophobia that comes from religious trauma and child abuse (i.e.: I need an excuse to trauma dump and my readers are going to get hurt)

writing is great and all until the plot suddenly starts to taste like I need to dump all of my heartbreak and trauma into one scene just to ruin each character's life

studying global politics is honestly so useful for writing fanfiction I love writing about random political theories fitting to each character

"enemies to lovers" "rivals to lovers" okay but what about two characters that were once so close and understood each other so well bc they're two sides of the same coin only to be brutally separated by the societal pressure and circumstances and are now unable to come together without confusing the intensity of their emotions for love so now they just keep hurting each other and no one understands them the way they understand each other so it's just a vicious cycle

I love getting tarot readings on my fyp going "someone or something is going to be removed from your life" like yeah I'm going to kill off another character no need to tell me that, tell me about my non-existent love life instead <3

plotting out backstories for people is so entertaining like wdym I can include all of my trauma into one character sign me tf up
