It's that time of the year! Wattys Season is here again and Luminous is still ongoing, lads and lassies! Holy Freda, how long can a story stew! 
          	
          	And that's why I've made this announcement to warn you that...
          	
          	1) Special chapters (Encyclopedia, Character Glossary, etc) will be temporarily unpublished. I don't want to take my chances with AI screeners XD.
          	
          	2) Starting from the next time (around early June), updates will be shorter. Each chapter will likely be broken into 3-4 or more updates of around 500 words. As always, if you receive a notification but the chapter remains stuck in its un-updated state, try restarting or reinstalling the Wattpad app. 
          	
          	I apologize in advance for the inconvenience. Please bear with me. Watty guidelines change annually, and this might very well be my last chance with Luminous. If I fail, it's straight to Kindle Direct Publishing for poor Meya.

Hii. this probably means nothing to you, but I wanted to thank you --
          first off, i'm glad to see luminous still being alive. I've been reading the book for a long time and has been an og... maybe? 
          
          I wanna thank you for inspiring me! I saw how passionate you were about writing luminous and it kind of inspired me to write my own fantasy book -- which is still ongoing, and the chapter count is quickly catching up the current chapter count Luminous has hehe --, and some time ago, my book hit 1,000 reads.
          
          I've been passionate about writing ever since I was little, and your book kind of gave me the confidence to write my own and share it with the world. 
          
          Sorry this is super random, anyways, thank you, and hope you a good evening/morning/day/night!

@kiironana Hi~~~ Of course this means a lot to me and no need to apologize! Thank you so much for taking the time to drop me a huge dose of encouragement. This is a great source of support and inspiration for me, too. All creators appreciate feedback from their audience, so never be afraid to let them know. 
            Congratulations on your milestone, but above all in finding joy in creating your story and keeping at it. It is something I've been struggling with since Luminous found some success, and I hope to be able to rediscover someday.

Hi! I just wanted to know is luminous complete now? I noticed the last few chapters are labeled special so that’s why I’m asking because I was waiting for a LONG time to binge it tbh

@MeuGami Thanks for asking! It's not finished yet but almost. I'm so sorry T^T. The last few chapters are encyclopedia and character info stuff, and they've been there for a long time.

OMG I love your artwork❤️ they're amazing! Designing characters of your own instead of some celebrities telling the readers what they look like is pretty awesome. And I barely read any books here with OC designs. Oh, btw love your book❤️

The characters have me completely obsessed, and I can't believe I've reached this point—I last commented on the 44th chapter. Eagerly awaiting the next installment!           I've also republished the special chapters I unpublished during the Wattys, so I apologize for the multiple notifs. I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long and haven't been replying to comments (I do read them daily, though!)---work is chaotic, my parents are coming to visit, I was pretty crushed by the Wattys rejection, and we're entering the last arc of Book One (which I haven't planned in detail yet XD). So we're taking it safe and slow.
