By and large, I don't write short things; if it's under 40,000 words, then why bother? (though I've broken this rule now and again). I must also shamefacedly admit that I rarely read fanfic. Does this make me a hypocrite? Perhaps... but it's mostly because I'm too busy churning out my next epic. I do, however, read books on rare occasion.

If you couldn't tell by my fandom choices, I'm the worst kind of geek; one with a brief attention span. This will mean that I (almost) NEVER repeat-offend: IE, pen more than one fic within the universe. No promises, no expectations, no disappointments. I think it's a good motto, since I write whatever wanders through my brain whenever the mood strikes me.

This just in: DO NOT POST FLAMEBAIT/TROLLING COMMENTS. Nobody wants or needs those. Keep your reviews to positive commentary, questions for clarification, or constructive criticism. All of that is welcome! If you aren't sure whether or not your criticism is constructive, then just don't post the comment.

Yes, I aspire to be a "real" author. Yes, I've written original fiction. No, I'm not on FictionPress. No, my books are not flying off the shelves in your local Barnes & Noble/Books-A-Million/OstrichTulipWhatever. I'm nestled into that ugly limbo between everything, where you're doing what you love and seeing absolutely no profit from it, prompting your family to badger you incessantly with the "So when are you going to get a job?" vitriol. However, at the very least, my lofty goal is to outdo Stephanie Meyer. If I can't even achieve THAT...
