Hello, my name is L. B. Martin and I come from a background of cornbread and venison, of lightening bugs and muddy toes, of crawdads and sweet tea. I come from the quiet shadow of the Appalachian Mountains and the deep hum of summer conversations on a back-porch swing. My people breathe stories, they spin and weave them between bites of licorice and sips of Mountain Dew. And it is perhaps for this reason that I love reading, I love writing, and I love teaching my passion: English. Actually, I love all types of stories, in all their varieties and forms: from graphic novels, books, and podcasts to movies, anime, and songs.

Currently I am teaching abroad in an international school and spend my time grading essays, visiting exotic places, and writing stories. Since it has been a while since I've had an actual audience read my own stories, I've decided to put some up on here.

So please enjoy and feel free to rate, comment, and give me whatever feedback you'd like to share. I do love knowing what my audience thinks.
