it might be just me but theres nothing i hate more than an unnecessary sa plotline, like when it only there so the big strong male lead can protect his girl and nothing else? its so unoriginal

if it’s important to the story or is important for character development then sure, but sometimes its kind of obvious that the author ran out of ideas and was just like ‘hey! she gets assaulted and he protects her’ and then its never mentioned again
