A magnetic pull to write.

Writing is one of my passions, one which I desire to share with anyone and everyone. It's an urge, an itch that I just cannot relieve, and that's fine, utterly fine, with me.

Following this passion, I have completed a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in English, as well as a double minor in Indigenous Studies, and Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. Writing and helping others are two of my biggest passions, both of which are apt to deepening in growth.

In November 2012 I participated in the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). I am now proud to say that I wrote the first draft of my novel (surpassing the 50, 000 word minimum) in one month, and have since then self-published my first novel, Scripturient, through CreateSpace! In 2013, I wrote a first draft for a second novel - currently untitled - which, basically, is a multinarrative centred on the humble Canadian penny.

The majority of my work here on Wattpad is magnetic poetry. When I play with words, I am as content as a child playing in the dirt and grass. I want to roll around, be curious and explore the world of words, and I hope you will tag along. My magnetic poetry is identified by a black&white image of magnet words.

In addition to my magnetic poetry, fellow writer and friend, Alcina Fong (check her out on Wattpad as well @AlcinaFong) are challenged ourselves with daily writing prompts throughout Summer 2013. Each week we alternated between poetry and short story writing. Work that came out of this is identified by the image of a laptop screen and grass.
