I don`t update this site much do I?
          	So a few updates:
          	I got engaged in January!
In march I turned 28 and got my first poem in an anthology called Unik (Unique) Alea Forlag <3 (I love the coincidence that I wrote the poem on my birthday in 2016, and got it published just a few days later in 2017).
In May/April I got a couple of new poems out in literary journals (Do you read Norwegian? Go check out STEMMER 01/17 and VOKS 01/17)
I got married in June <3 <3 (In an outdoors play, in front of 800 people).
I`m got my diploma from Fagskolen for Bokbransjen, I`m a literary scholar (literaturformidler) yey! (In May/June, so I had my exams and stuff before the wedding, so you can imagine how stressed I was. But everything turned out great).
I got a new job, as for now I`m a bouncer in addition to teaching first aid. I know I look like this cute little Mugwai-thing, but I`m a gremlin in disguise (only when hangry). Or maybe an ewok is more correct ;) (still waiting to get into publishing or any literary related job though!!)
In between all this I´ve had some low points and shitty days, but let`s not dwell on the negative right? 2017 is way better than 2016 already! <3

I`ll post the obligatory assignments we had at Fagskolen (in Norwegian). I hope someone might find them useful.

          	You`ll find me on Instagram, that`s where I`m at;) @ mai.elise

Dear Maielise...Until this moment I thought I was alone on Wattpad; now I see you and your hopes and work. I have read that you are a bouncer. Is that a person who tosses people out of drinking establishments?
Have you read my stuff: one on Virginia Woolf, a BBC broadcast hosted by Miss Q.R. Ramsbottom, and another on Y2K and our scorched earth found Centuries after the robots went wild on a New Years Eve and blasted all of us to bits?
It's June 29, 2019 and I'm thinking about adding a story. Would you read it?
          Sincerely, Gary McDonald

I just want to share something I’ve written on my blog.
It’s about my response to The Ocean at the end of the lane by Neil Gaiman. I’m sure I will post many more as I work with his text. I have plenty to say:)
"When I read about the little boy who has to stand up to adults, about a childhood where you have to use your imagination to get by… I can relate to it all, all too well."

Still kicking. ;) This has been a super busy semester. Besides work, Medic stuff(yes, I´m back in green too), and first aid, I got into riss(a journal for language and literature) and it is super fun, but time consuming. My MA thesis is coming along slowly, which means I´ll have to prioritize my thesis above all the other stuff I do for the rest of the year, which is okay because I love it. Now I just have to survive the weekend writing on the first draft of my thesis. First deadline is on Tuesday. O_O
