Updated 7/1/20: I have arisen from my slumber! Thoughts and prayers going out to those affected emotionally, physically, and mentally to the current medical and social situations we have at hand. The world will heal soon. Respect and inquire opinions. Stay safe. WIAF? is back in the works for the summer.

Mika here, writin' some sentimental stories about the mysteries of life and beyond! Even though graciously urging family and friends have offered me ideas to capture the Internet's hearts with phantasmic and hopeless romantic narratives, my style of writin' is motivated by connecting characters to the real world. I pen stories to open up conversations--important ones, funny ones, memories. My books and articles aim to strengthen one's own psyche from a character I have dreamt of, a figment who would mean everything to various people I see on a daily basis. Imagine, the character of a public figure, a long-ago childhood friend, a neighbor 'cross the street who you say hi to frequently while picking up a package from the mailbox--now imagine all three qualities in one embodiment, this is what I see and what you will see in your closest social circles. That's what is magical about interpersonal-intrapersonal writin', the power to know someone through layers, to see their growth as a person. Stories worth caring for like family and friends, and they know who they are dedicated to without a page saying so. I may not be swayed by 'em, but they're the key inspiration of why I write.

Bridget Jones, Junie B. Jones, and Laurie Halse Anderson are my home-girls.
