Creaking could be heard from the old stairwell, meaning someone was making their way up to the old coffee shop.

The coffee shop was located right off of 25 bell road and carmen ave. It sat atop an old library, though the library had been close for years now.
The building itself was old, cracked stone. Vines grew from the floor, reaching to the few windowsills of the coffee shop. There were only four windows, one on each wall, though each window was quite huge. The vines had little purple flowers blooming from the thorns, a peculiar plant indeed.

As the sound of creaking got closer and closer to the top, the lady sitting at the register perked up.

The lady couldn't have been more than 14 years old, standing at 5'7 feet tall. She had dark, thick, long brown hair that reaching her hips. Her hair was decorated with green highlights. Brown framed glasses covered her deep brown, almost black, eyes.

The person who entered turned out not to be a person at all, but a cat.
"Hello, kitty." The girl cooed. "What are you doing up here all alone?"

The cat simply turned its back to the women and cascading back down the stairs, leaving the girl in its wake.

"Goodbye, kitty." She sulked. Slumping over, she made her way back to the register. "Maybe tomorrow..."
