okay i know no one takes this advice seriously but please be original. stop giving yourself away to social medial trends. i swear it's so boring to talk to someone these days because everyone is so influenced that every other person has the same personality. like someone says "oh my god have you heard that song? it's my favourite!" and it's the song played at every restaurant, every other video and everywhere else. ma'am thinks she invented it. i'm not saying everything overused is overrated because somethings actually deserve the attention and rightfully have it. but, to adapt all things overused, makes you a very people curated person and you have nothing of your own. so be weird, you will be found amusing but please please stop being that kid from 7th grade who adapts every trend and acts like he brought it.

Honestly what I feel is that it’s chill to like something mainstream, but it’s just not healthy if you claim to like something just because it is mainstream. It’s a normal people pleaser kinda thing to do, and it’s sad to see that people don’t feel confident to even express their basic likes and dislikes ):

@preciouspearl20 exactly and that being someone's personality is pretty cheap. not just reels, the overall social media trends like specific words, phrases and all

@peachygrants Explains the trend on reels, people vibe on it until it dies out and another join in the thread. And it continues, a constant loop of imitation.
