Sooo it’s been like two weeks since I published chapter 21 of MDD, and literally no one has responded to the announcement/question at the end in the author’s note, so I figured I would ask it here just in case a brave soul felt like giving me their input. Essentially, I have a desire to write Kieran and Damien’s (love) story. It’s been brewing in my mind a bit, and I feel like I’ll be able to give them a good book. So my question is basically just…would you guys be interested in reading that? I obviously plan to write more stories in the future (I want to experiment with ddlg/mdlg/ddlb/mdlb in whatever orientation of letters resonates with me the most once two random characters pop into my head), and I’d also like to know what you guys might like to read from me and my writing. So…just let me know about all of that…
I also wanted to mention something else. Someone recently added MDD to a reading list called “Ai,” and I really hope that doesn’t mean artificial intelligence. All of my work is completely pulled from my mind and typed out onto this platform (and google docs). I have never used AI of any kind in this story, and I hope that none of you have been getting that idea. Every chapter, character background, and plot detail has been completely mine from the start. Don’t confuse my writing with AI. I do realize that my work has better-than-average quality compared to other stories on Wattpad, and that’s because I wanted to put a GOOD and WELL WRITTEN story out there for people to enjoy. Just because something has good craft and correct grammar on a platform like Wattpad, that doesn’t mean it’s AI generated.
I’m so sorry this is so long; there were simply a lot of things I needed to say. All of my readers (both silent and loud) mean the absolute world to me, and I could have never imagined to reach 60k reads in just 4 months. Truly, from the bottom of my heart—thank you.
